Facsimile of the chair designed by Boris Vian and intended for his personal use, now kept in the writer’s apartment, 6 bis Cité Véron, in Paris. Also a musician and great Jazz lover, Boris Vian imagined this star-shaped chair with a slightly raised seat, adapted to his morphology, for playing the guitar-lyre. Then he set about making the object, using cleats and wooden planks held together by nails and held together by hemp rope. Limited edition of 50, produced under the aegis of Patrick Vian and Nicole Bertolt on the basis of the original drawings kept in the archives of Boris Vian and titled “Musical chair” in tribute to the passion that the artist had for music.
